About the organization:

Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is an independent humanitarian and development organization. YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty

Country Purpose:

Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003, and officially became the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sector for the programme include:

•        Water and Sanitation

•        Sustainable livelihood

•        Education

•        Child Welfare

•        Shelter

•        Disaster Risk Reduction

•        Climate Change

 

The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi and Jakarta Province and will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.

Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking Offline Fundraising Officer based in Jakarta – Indonesia.

 

Reporting Line:

Post  holder  would  directly  report  to  Local Resource Mobilization Coordinator/Offline Fundraising Coordinator.

 

Overall Responsibility:

·       To develop fundraising policy, system, strategy and mechanism,  fundraising in the areas other than faith related donation (Zakat, Infaq, and Shodaqoh) and WAQF;

·       To establish and build the capacity of the fundraising team including volunteers for humanitarian related donation;

·       To lead in implementation strategy for offline fundraising to Masjid, SMEs, Community, School ans Event.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1.       Approaching Community, Masjid, School, SMEs and Create Event

·       Visit and joint networking with stakeholder

·       Maintenance data base offline donor

·       Draft the Volunteer policy

·       Create Event for Awareness and Charity Event

 

2.       Volunteer Recruitment and Staffing for offline fundraising

·       Determine the human resource plan and strategy 

·       Determine key performance indicator (KPI) of volunteer and staff

·       Together with HR to Recruit and select volunteer and staff needed

·       Orient volunteer and staff and build their capacity

·       Appraise volunteer and staff based in the determine KPI

3.       Develop Marketing and Communication strategy for Offline strategy

·       To detail the recommendation of fundraising feasibility study for brand awareness strategy

·       With programme coordinator to develop marketable programmatic communication package

·       With Humanitarian Coordinator to develop humanitarian crisis communication package

·       Develop brand awareness of IR to public and potential partners with right formulation

4.       Implement Fundraising Strategy for Offline Fundraising Publick and Retail Donation -ZISWAQF sources

·       To set fundraising target for three years timespan with detail annual achievement plan

·       To elaborate potential offline donation and volunteerism by area basis and strengthen Masjid, School, Community networking with segmented basis

·       To formulate fundraising strategic plan for partnership acquisition for Offline Fundraising  in mosque, schools, community, seasonal event, etc

5.       To Investigate and Develop Public Donor acquisition

·       To hold events such as disaster response simulation for companies, school, Masjid, Community, association, etc.

·       To participate in external large/big events by opening organization such as Economic Syariah, Hijab Fest, Moslem Fair, Jakarta Fair, UMKM fair, etc

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor degree or more in relevant fields.
  • Vast knowledge of fundraising sector in Indonesia
  • High Know how in donor acquisition and retainment 
  • Ability to advice CEO and Managers on fundraising tactics.
  • Well-developed IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft office in particular for presentation purpose
  • Ability to supervise and develop Volunteer/Agency Fundraising
  • Having proven effective relation and networking with general public companies, charity organization, and key stakeholders for fundraising purpose
  • Having database of donors and companies

 

Experience:

  • A 3 year experience of managing all fundraising sector especially Offline Fundraising, Retail or Public Donor and ZISWAF
  • A proven record of successful fundraising achievement                                  
  • Experience of undertaking a range of tasks requiring a high degree of discretion, sensitivity and negotiating skills.
  • Experience of working independently and on own initiative

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and able to be flexible.
  • Able to analyse and solve problems from complex information and make an informed decision.
  • Able to work with target work and able to work under pressure
  • Have a good morals and attitude and do not smoking
