As a federal enterprise, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. Smallholder farmers in Kapuas Hulu district primarily cultivate commodity crops (oil palm, rubber, coffee, and cacao) in monocultural production systems of 2 to 5 hectares. Due to their reliance on a limited number of crops, these farmers are very vulnerable to market fluctuations, pests and disease problems, and impacts of climate change.
To address these issues, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is implementing the Greening Agricultural Smallholder Supply Chains (GRASS) project from 2023 to 2025.
The overarching goal of the GRASS project is living conditions of the poor rural population have been sustainably improved through the protection of natural habitats and sustainable forest management, with the project objective of improving economic and environmental resilience of smallholder farmers, including links to global supply chains, for selected communities in Kapuas Hulu district.
In order to achieve these objectives, GRASS will develop various e-learning materials that fit with smallholder farmer needs and their surrounding environment. To ensure learning effectiveness and culturally adapted content, GRASS is assigning an e-learning adaptation consultant who will assist in creating e-learning videos, infographics, and a module book.
Therefore, GIZ GRASS project is currently seeking a Consultancy Service for Producing e-learning videos, infographics, and book module. The detail services is set forth in the attached of Term of Reference and other annexes.
