Yayasan Tambuhak Sinta (YTS), a development foundation based in Palangka Raya, is looking for a Program Coordinator Area 2 to be responsible for the hands-on management of livelihood programs and activities in Pulang Pisau District, and Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan.
To lead this initiative, YTS is looking for a skilled and resourceful candidate that is experienced in implementing complex and comprehensive rural development programs. The Program Coordinator will oversee and work together with two teams in the field and is expected to spend a considerable amount of time in the field. Responsible for reporting and communications, monitoring and evaluating all activities and processes, and making adjustments in accordance with changing needs and circumstances.
Experience and Requirements
The following background experience and qualities are required for this position:
- Previous experience with facilitating participatory community development and community empowerment initiatives and programs.
- Previous experience with social, governance, environmental, and behavior change programs.
- Experience and/or knowledge in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
- Knowledge of the Theory of Change and outcome mapping approach would be desirable.
- Good interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English; able to communicate well with a wide variety of local and external stakeholders, including villagers, women, government, companies, and CSOs.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Good team management, coordination, facilitation, and supervisory skills.
- Good computer skills – word processing, spreadsheet, internet.
- University degree in the relevant subject.
- Able to travel, live and work in remote locations.
