Program Development, Social Impact, and Strategic Partnership Specialist
Edufarmers International Foundation

About Edufarmers International Foundation
Edufarmers International Foundation is a non-profit organization with a vision to improve the four pillars of food security, namely the availability, sustainability, access, and utilization of food. Edufarmers focuses on two main areas: stunting reduction and agriculture development.

Our Impact
  1. Agriculture Program Initiatives: We empower smallholder farmers through research-driven training, technology adoption, and improved access to markets and resources.
    1. Conduct practical and scientific research in agriculture to find SOPs that can achieve optimum crop yield.
    2. Work with youth, local agriculture extension services, and farmers to learn and experiment together based on the FFS method (Farmers Field School) so farmers can adopt best practices, agri-inputs, and technologies to improve their productivity and income.
    3. Create agriculture contents and materials and disseminate them to wider audiences.
    4. Develop an agriculture ecosystem through a farmer support center called "Plaza Bertani" that can support farmers beyond the training by empowering farmers through the agriculture value chain (access to capital, agri-inputs, technologies, off takers) and generating revenue through professionally-run farming solution centers and farmer cooperatives.
  2. Stunting Reduction Program Initiatives: We implement community-based programs that focus on nutrition, education, and sustainable food production to combat childhood stunting.
    1. Develop stunting eradication programs through specific and sensitive interventions such as providing daily egg consumption for children under 5 years old and pregnant women, training for health extension services (kader posyandu), and developing community-led layer farming businesses at the village level to sustain egg production and consumption for the community.
    2. Create technology platforms for beneficiaries and program operators to make program operations more effective and efficient and for a wider audience that enables them to make donations, volunteer, and provide other contributions.
    3. Partner with various organizations to implement the program across Indonesia.
    4. Raise awareness and educate people about stunting and other related issues through websites and social media.
