About This Role

The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for completing full-cycle recruitment, based on organization policies and best practices, for positions based in designated ChildFund country offices. The Recruiting Specialist is part of a global Recruiting and Talent Management team in the Global Human Resources department.

This is a remote position located in one of the following ChildFund countries of operation: India, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, or Thailand. To be considered, candidates must have current residence AND work authorization in one of these locations and be fluent in English.

 

Required Experience and Education

·       University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·       At least 2 years of human resources experience.

·       At least 4 years of experience in a multi-cultural, international organization.

·       Previous full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate or NGO setting is strongly preferred.

 

Primary Responsibilities

·       Conduct full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned positions, including: leading intakes; developing recruiting strategies; proactive sourcing; shortlisting; screening interviews; interview scheduling, support, and coordination; offer development and negotiation; reference checks; and pre-boarding.

·       Adhere to organization policies and procedures and industry best practices.

·       Work collaboratively with hiring managers and hiring teams to prepare for interviews; facilitate excellent, compliant experiences for hiring teams that reflect ChildFund's values.

·       Provide an engaging, responsive, and positive experience for candidates and actively contribute to the development of talent pipelines for designated locations and recurring roles.

·       Proactively and conscientiously maintain applicant, interview, and offer records and contribute to accurate recruiting metrics.

·       Assist in enhancing the knowledge and capacity of Global Human Resources colleagues, hiring managers, and interview teams about ChildFund recruitment practices and industry best practices.

·       Communicate with Global HR Shared Services, business partners, and managers to encourage compliance with processes related to the Human Capital Management System, WeConnect.

·       Collaborate with country office colleagues related to job advertising, onboarding, and partnerships with external vendors.

·       Support Global HR projects and initiatives and participate in opportunities to learn about ChildFund's operations and develop new professional skills.

·       Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks; acquire relevant knowledge and skills to enable you to understand the safeguarding policy and procedures; promote strong safeguarding practices; perform your duty and responsibility to safeguard, report violations, and promote appropriate behavior; and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the organization's policies and values.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Sharepoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Other Criteria

·       The ability to travel internationally up to 10%.

·       The ability to work effectively in a remote setting—must have reliable internet connectivity and a quiet, private workspace.

·       Current work authorization and residence in India, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, or Thailand.
