Background
The Fleming Fund Country Grant to Indonesia is supporting the government in implementing the National Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Action Plan. The fund supports strategies to monitor and contain AMR and to monitor antimicrobial consumption and use (AMC/U) and improve antimicrobial stewardship. The Fleming Fund Country Grant Indonesia is being implemented by a consortium led by DAI with partners KIRE, Health Security Partners, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and Prevalensi Nusantara. The implementation of the fund adopts a One Health approach supporting activities across the human, terrestrial animal and aquatic animal sectors. The project seeks to strengthen current surveillance of AMR and AMU/C by working closely with the Ministries of Health, Agriculture and Marine Affairs and Fisheries and provincial counterparts to support capacity development in relation to laboratories and testing, surveillance and information management. The project will also support and seek to engage private sector interests including healthcare providers and animal production industry stakeholders.
Purpose of This Post
DAI Fleming Fund Country Grant to Indonesia is seeking a dynamic professional for the full-time position of Logistician.
Description of Duties
Specific responsibilities include:
· Provide logistical support to the Liaison Office in setting up and organizing events and meetings.
· Work closely with the finance team to facilitate the preparation and delivery of payment documents such as payments to enumerators, resource persons, moderators and participants based on invoices.
· Conducting and documenting SAM Search for individuals participating in meetings, workshops and/or FGD.
· Ensure that hotels and venue meeting vendors understand DAI procurement policies, procedures, and reporting and settlement requirements.
· Ensures the timely application and acquisition of correct visa and immigration documents for expatriate LTTA and STTA staff.
· Schedules and arranges travel logistics for staff, STTA/short-term consultants and subcontractors.
Qualifications and Skills
· At least a bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, finance and economics, or statistics plus minimum 3 years work relevant experience.
· Operational knowledge/experience of government of Indonesia processes and reporting systems.
· Good communication skills (written and oral) in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Desirable
· Familiarity with the human and animal health sectors; One Health approach; Global Health Security.
Supervision
The Logistician will work under the direct supervision of. Liaison Officer
Level of Effort/Timeline
Full time position. The employment agreement will start in September 2024 through December 2024 with possibility of an extension to December 2025 and beyond. The Logistician will be based in Jakarta, with occasional travel to other parts of Indonesia.

Indonesian national.
Remuneration and package
Remuneration and package will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
