1. Introduction
Yayasan Project HOPE will engage a third-party contractor to undertake an endline program evaluation for the purpose of assessing if IPC and mental health practices established through the program training/events were sustained as well as beneficiary perspectives surrounding the types of program interventions provided. This will be conducted through a mixed-methods evaluation of the program's IPC and mental health interventions in 15 districts across six provinces. The results will be used to inform the follow-on program's interventions through increased understanding of which interventions were useful for participants and effective for improving IPC practices.
Yayasan Project HOPE is working with local health facilities to strengthen the health workforce preparedness and response to COVID-19 and other infections by strengthening IPC at health facilities. Firstly, we target district health offices to build their capacity to monitor and manage IPC in their health facilities and in particular the level of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) from each facility. More importantly, we extend our IPC activities down to the primary health care level (Puskesmas) where most of the population accesses health services. These are the essential facilities that initially receive potential COVID-19 patients for treatment of mild cases and then are referred to hospitals if they have severe cases. They also handle most labor and delivery cases. In addition, Project HOPE supports health facilities to incorporate mental health programming into their health system by developing the pathway for HCWs that suffer from mental health due to COVID-19.
We are looking for the Saving Live Health Care Workers Program Evaluation Consultant who are interested in this endeavor to offer the most cost-effective proposal with methodology, work plan, and budget plan that suit the target deliverable and evaluation to meet the project goals
2. Duration
The Consultant will provide services for a maximum of 33 working days are estimated to include the set of deliverables.
