Job Title : Program Manager
Reports To : National Leader
Base : Medan
Tasks and responsibility
- Responsible for collaborating with National Leader, Field Director, Operational Manager and Advisor to make sure that the program is optimally implemented.
- Work closely with project donors.
- Supervise Project Coordinators to ensure all projects are in line with the organization's strategy, values, regulations and donor requirements. Yearly appraisal of Project Coordinator.
- Monitor and be responsible for capacity building and in knowledge management within the organization.
- Analyse, evaluate and address program risks, and produce program reports for the National Leader, donors and stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate immediately to National Leader any issues that arise related to project implementation.
- Contribute to the development of project cycle management.
- Work closely with the Advisor and Project Coordinator in preparing the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system design at organizational level.
- Ensure the MEAL system can be implemented in the project with a system of documentation that is strengthened and updated regularly.
QUALIFICATION:
- Education:
University degree in a related field to education, Public Health, Nutrition, Social Development, Social Policy, Gender studies etc.
- Experience:
- 6 years successful record in Project Management at middle to senior level. 2-3 years of specialized experience working with civil society organizations and/or advocacy efforts.
- Experience of working on issues related to health and nutrition in community level.
- Experience in conduct the analysis and developing the project monitoring system.
- Familiarity with a diverse number of cross-cutting themes such as rights based programming, networking, gender integration and policy advocacy.
- Specific technical skills :
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Organization and Presentation.
- Report writing (in Indonesia & English).
- Project Planning
- Liaison and contract negotiation.
- Budgeting and administration.
