The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is an international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide operations. Its corporate objective is to improve people's living conditions on a sustainable basis. GIZ has been working in Indonesia since 1975 on behalf of the German Government. Other parties that commission GIZ to carry out projects include the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), the German Federal Foreign Office and the European Union. The project Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to Protect the Marine Environment and Coral Reefs (3RproMar) aims to support the ASEAN Member States (AMS) in the improvement of implementation capacities for reducing land-based waste leakage to protect the marine environment. Indonesia is one of the four focal countries in this project. The project would also like to support the development of national measures related to marine debris monitoring.
Currently, ASEAN 3RproMar project is seeking a company/consulting firm to develop Academic Script for Regulation on Waste Reduction by Producers.
