CASEWORKER – 1 position based in Jakarta
YCWS is implementing a Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (BPRM)-funded program in Jakarta that assists refugees and asylum seekers to access basic services such as health care and provides skills training and education programs.
THE ROLE:
The incumbent requires knowledge of social work theories, practice, and procedure, particularly in child and adolescent care. The incumbent must be flexible, adaptive, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings and in a cross-cultural situation and be knowledgeable of the risks and needs of children and adolescents in accordance with their age. Under the overall supervision of Senior Program Officer – Protection and guidance of Child Protection Officer, the incumbent is expected to ensure basic needs support for Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC), including provision of functional and safe housing and other basic necessities.
