About the organization:
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is an independent humanitarian and development organization. YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty
Country Purpose:
Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003 and officially became Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sectors for the program include:
- Water and Sanitation
- Sustainable livelihood
- Education
- Child Welfare
- Shelter
- Disaster Risk Reduction
- Climate Change
The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, West Java, and Jakarta Province will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking a Driver based in Jakarta
Reporting Line:
The post holder would directly report to the Supply Chain Officer
Responsibilities:
• Drive the organization's vehicles for office and field activities
Mengemudikan kendaraan organisasi untuk keperluan operasional kantor dan lapangan
• Ensure the vehicle is always in good condition and clean
Memastikan kondisi kendaraan selalu dalam keadaan baik dan bersih
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any damages or maintenance needs
Melakukan pemeriksaan kendaraan secara rutin dan melaporkan jika ada kerusakan atau kebutuhan perawatan
• Ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and documents during transport
Memastikan keamanan penumpang, barang, dan dokumen selama perjalanan
• Comply with traffic regulations and organizational policies on driving safety
Mematuhi peraturan lalu lintas dan kebijakan organisasi terkait keselamatan berkendara
• Support logistics in delivering relief items to project locations
Membantu logistik dalam pengiriman barang bantuan ke lokasi program
• Loading and un loading material if required to assist delivery of material more efficient.
Memuat dan menurunkan material jika diperlukan untuk membantu pengiriman material dengan lebih efisien
• Accurately and promptly fill in the vehicle logbook
Mengisi logbook kendaraan secara akurat dan tepat waktu
• Be ready for official travel, including to remote or rural areas, as required by the organization

• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

• Ensures that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident;
Memastikan bahwa langkah-langkah yang diwajibkan oleh peraturan dan ketentuan diambil jika terjadi kecelakaan
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a driver, preferably in NGOs or humanitarian settings
Pengalaman minimal 3 tahun sebagai sopir, diutamakan di sektor NGO atau lembaga kemanusiaan
- Minimum of high school education or equivalent
Pendidikan minimal SMA/sederajat
- Possession of a valid Driving License (SIM A; SIM B is an advantage)
Memiliki SIM A (dan SIM B menjadi nilai tambah)
- Good knowledge of the operational area and strong navigation skills
Mengetahui wilayah operasional dan memiliki kemampuan navigasi yang baik
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in bahasa Indonesia and cross-cultural environment.

- Basic English conversation will be an advantage.
