[ Senior Program Manager (Core Programs)]
Founded in 1999, YCAB Foundation is the founding and flagship organization of the YCAB Social Enterprise Group. With a vision to break the cycle of poverty, YCAB utilizes financial inclusion as a primary instrument to expand and strengthen education for youth from urban low-income families. To date, YCAB has positively impacted over five million young individuals and empowered more than 200,000 ultra-micro women entrepreneurs. In 2024, YCAB Foundation retained its #28 ranking on the TOP 100 SGO/NGO list by TheDotGood, a global nonprofit rating agency based in Geneva, Switzerland.
- Lead annual planning, budgeting, and program design for core initiatives: vocational training centers, scholarships, and the Batik Learning Center.
- Ensure programs align with YCAB's mission and address real-time youth employability trends, particularly in digital skills, entrepreneurship, and creative industries.
- Develop and update implementation frameworks, SOPs, and delivery standards for all core programs.
- Identify opportunities to innovate or scale proven models based on insights, feedback, and market relevance.
- Keep up-to-date with labor market trends and employer needs to ensure training remains relevant and aligned with emerging job opportunities.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all core programs, ensuring smooth participant selection, training delivery, and alumni engagement.
- Manage and support trainers, facilitators, and program staff, maintaining high standards of service and learning outcomes.
- Promote youth participation and incorporate their feedback to enhance program relevance and empowerment.
- Collaborate with the RME team to set KPIs, monitor progress, and gather feedback.
- Use data and evaluation findings to drive improvements in program design and delivery.
- Document lessons learned and generate recommendations for future program cycles.
- Lead the development of proposals and funding applications to attract sponsorship and partnerships for core programs, ensuring financial sustainability.
- Identify and engage with potential sponsors and funding sources aligned with YCAB's mission.
- Work with internal teams to prepare budgets, reports, and compliance documentation for sponsors and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, vocational partners, community organizations, and alumni networks to enhance program quality and reach.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, HR, Communications, Procurement) to ensure effective program support and compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison for core program partnerships, fostering collaboration and alignment with YCAB's strategic priorities.
- Represent YCAB in relevant forums, events, and sector networks to promote the organization and stay updated with best practices.
- Ensure program delivery within budget, optimizing available resources to maintain program quality without relying on external funding.
- Foster community ownership, alumni engagement, and cost-effective solutions to support long-term sustainability.
- Coordinate with the Head of Program Management Division to explore internal efficiencies or strategic partnerships.
- Strengthen pathways to employment or further education by building partnerships with job placement agencies, internship providers, or educational institutions.
- Ensure inclusive practices are embedded across all programs to reach marginalized youth, especially girls and young women.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, policy discussions, and advocacy efforts to position YCAB as a leader in youth development and inclusive education.
- Approved annual work plans and budgets for core programs.
- SOPs and updated operational guidelines for scholarship, vocational, and Batik programs.
- Regular program reports with performance data, outcomes, and recommendations.
- M&E-driven adjustments to improve program quality and relevance.
- Documentation of success stories, impact narratives, and alumni engagement.
- Evidence of sustainability efforts (e.g., community partnerships, resource optimization).
- Proposals and funding applications submitted to secure program support.
- Active records of stakeholder and partner coordination.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in program management within non-profit or educational sectors, preferably in areas like vocational training, youth development, or scholarship management.
- Proven leadership in running sustainable programs without donor reliance.
- Strong understanding of youth-centered program design, workforce trends, and inclusive education models.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Skilled in program budgeting, reporting, and adaptive program management.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, especially with local communities and institutional partners.
