Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is an independent humanitarian and development organization. YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty
Country Purpose:
Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003 and officially became Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sectors for the program include:
- Water and Sanitation
- Sustainable livelihood
- Education
- Child Welfare
- Shelter
- Disaster Risk Reduction
- Climate Change
The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and Jakarta Province will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.
Project Overview
Islamic Relief Indonesia currently implementing project of the Safe Water and Sanitation project (SWASPRO), one-year project, aimed to provide safe drinking water for the poor communities who always experience water shortage during dry season in one Villagesin East Lombok-NTB province). Access for safe water still becomes classical issues in the area throughout the year. Thus, intervention from humanitarian actors is always needed especially due to the fact that East Lombok is the poorest district in NTB province. (IDM Report, 2020).
Islamic Relief Indonesia will build 1 safe drinking water facilitys using gravity system that can reach more than 1,000 households (4,000 people). We also will foster community hygienic life through public health promotion for both community members and residing students in the Islamic Boarding school. The target area will be one village in East Lombok. The local community will be a center for entire project cycles. The voice of vulnerable groups will be heard and addressed to ensure no one is left behind. CFM will be amplified and facilitated to ensure meaningful participation from stakeholder. Moreover, Islamic Relief Indonesia and its local partner will carry out each project component with quality and consistent to IRW meal requirements including CHS, and standardized WASH intervention like SPHERE Standard. It would be possible also to follow the AMPL (National WASH Sub Cluster) guideline which is relevant to local contexts.
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking Community Mobilizer based in East Lombok - NTB.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implement day to day project activities according to the detailed implementation plan.
• Assist the Area Coordinator in day to day implementation of Safe Water and Sanitation Project component including but not limited to needs assessment, facilitate community engagement for water facilities construction process, facilitate community meeting, facilitating CLTS activities, etc based on agreed tools by Islamic Relief and Partners.
• Represent Islamic relief in the project area.
• Assist the Area Coordinator in documenting project learning, meetings, changes and activity reports undertaken by project team.
• Assist the data management in Islamic Relief and partners.
• Work on AX system to ensure all compliance related to finance, logistic are settled.
• Assist the Area Coordinator in preparing any form of report (weekly, monthly and progress report).
• Strong initiative and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principle.
• Able to write report quality report supported by data and evidence

Requirements:
• The applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in community development, development studies, social welfare or other related fields, with at least 2 years’ experience in project related jobs
• Two years minimum experience in Safe Water and Hygiene sector or relevant field.
• Have experiences working with communities or government
• Capacity to work under pressure, in remote location and with basic condition/ facility.
Specific Skills
• Computer literate with fluency of using Microsoft Word, Excel, survey tools
• Organizational and time management skills required;
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team;
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is preferred but not required
• Ready to live-in/stay in project site
