- Project Management
- Lead the end-to-end project management of new digital tools: LMS, WhatsApp chatbot, internal dashboard, and other development.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the NGO and external tech vendors.
- Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Coordinate timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring delivery aligns with program and operational needs.
- Facilitate system testing (UAT), deployment, and post-launch evaluation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring system usability, scalability, and security.
- Technology Strategy & Oversight
- Develop and implement an IT roadmap that supports the NGO's strategic goals and digital transformation efforts.
- Ensure all systems are user-centered, accessible, and inclusive for the communities served.
- Support the digitalization of internal processes to improve program delivery, impact tracking, and decision-making.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with third-party developers and service providers to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal teams (program, M&E, operations, comms) to ensure digital solutions meet real-world needs.
- Translate between technical teams and non-technical staff to bridge communication gaps.
- Capacity Building & Change Management
- Develop training plans and support staff onboarding for new systems and tools.
- Promote digital literacy and build internal capacity to use and maintain new platforms effectively.
- Foster a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
- Data Governance & IT Operations
- Ensure digital tools comply with data privacy, security, and ethical standards, particularly when handling beneficiary or donor data.
- Oversee IT infrastructure and internal support services as needed, including hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Establish and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and documentation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years in the nonprofit or social impact sector preferred.
- Proven experience managing external vendors and implementing digital platforms, especially LMS and chatbot systems.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design and technology in low-resource settings.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical terms for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with tools like Trello, Jira, or other project management software.
