- Establish and lead a robust career services function, including training needs analysis between industry and vocational training centers, SMA/SMK/Madrasah, job matching, career counseling, CV development, and interview preparation.
- Develop and manage an extensive network of hiring partners from various industries, securing internship and full-time employment commitments.
- Set, monitor, and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) directly related to graduate employment rates, time-to-employment, and employer satisfaction.
- Ensure all program curricula, including technical skills, are co-designed with industry partners to meet current and future market demands.
- Continuously adapt and innovate program models based on feedback from industries and analysis of graduate employment data.
- Drive the integration of work-readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy across all program activities to maximize employability.
- Design and implement strategies to build a strong scholars cohort that fosters belonging, peer learning, and active participation during the scholarship period.
- Oversee alumni tracking systems to capture data on career progression, further education, and entrepreneurship.
- Develop alumni engagement initiatives, including networking events, mentoring programs, and opportunities for alumni to contribute to YCAB's mission.
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with a primary focus on securing hiring pipelines. This includes engaging with government ministries, private sector companies (DUDI), industry associations, and educational and vocational training institutions.
- Structure partnerships to include clear commitments for internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level job placements for program graduates.
- Act as the primary representative for the programs, building relationships with donors and investors by showcasing strong employment outcomes as a return on social investment.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of all program activities, ensuring every stage is optimized to support the ultimate goal of employment.
- Manage program budgets and resources effectively, prioritizing investments that directly contribute to employability outcomes.
- Implement rigorous monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems, including graduate tracer studies, to track employment status, career progression, and long-term impact.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing program team, instilling a culture that is relentlessly focused on the employability of its beneficiaries.
- Set clear, outcome-based goals for the team, with performance measured against graduate placement success.
- Bachelor's degree in International Development, Vocational Education and Training, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience in senior management roles with a proven track record in scholarship and cohort management, workforce development, talent acquisition, or vocational education and training (TVET).
- Demonstrated success in placing candidates into jobs is essential. Experience in a corporate talent acquisition, university career services, or recruitment agency leadership role would be a significant asset.
- Proven ability to build and manage extensive networks of corporate/industry hiring partners.
- Strong background in designing and managing scholarship or vocational training programs where graduate employment rates were a primary success metric.
- Experience in strategic partnership development, project management, and fundraising, particularly with international donors and corporate foundations
- Exceptional strategic and critical thinking with a clear ability to connect program design to labor market demands and employment outcomes.
- Deep understanding of the Indonesian labor market and education ecosystem, key growth industries, and recruitment practices.
- Possess outstanding negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, which enable me to secure commitments from senior-level corporate partners.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively use data (e.g., tracer studies, employer feedback) to drive strategy and program improvement.
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) is required.
