Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Planning & Design
- Develop and review technical designs and specifications for:
- Hybrid-powered water systems and river-based water supply systems (Sub-objective 3)
- Rainwater harvesting facilities in public schools (Sub-objective 3)
- Greywater recycling systems for household-level reuse (Sub-objective 2)
- Renovation of MSME kitchens to meet food safety certification standards (Sub-objective 1)
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility check in collaboration with engineers and WASH experts.
- Ensure infrastructure designs are inclusive, climate-resilient, and compliant with national standards and donor requirements.
- Construction Supervision & Quality Assurance
- Oversee construction and installation activities across all infrastructure components.
- Monitor contractor performance, material usage, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Ensure timely completion of works and troubleshoot technical issues on-site.
- Capacity Building & Community Support
- Facilitate training for local workers, PAMDus committees, school staff, and MSME members on safe construction practices and system maintenance in collaboration with Habitat Indonesia's sector specialist (WASH, HSS etc.).
- Support community members in installing and maintaining household-level systems (e.g., greywater reuse, integrated gardening/fishponds).
- Provide technical guidance during MSME kitchen renovations, ensuring compliance with certification requirements.

- Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Community Organizers, MEAL team, and partner organizations (SAPDA, SPEK-HAM).
- Liaise with local government agencies (DPUPRKP, BAPPEDA, Village administrations etc.) for permits, approvals, and technical inputs.
- Participate in quarterly program quality meetings and contribute to lessons learned workshops.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of construction progress, site visits, and technical evaluations.
- Contribute to donor reports with infrastructure updates, challenges, and success stories.
- Support MEAL team in collecting data related to infrastructure performance and community satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in community-based infrastructure and WASH projects.
- Experience working with NGOs/INGOs and rural communities.
- Familiarity with solar-powered systems, water treatment technologies, and inclusive design principles.
- Strong technical and analytical skills in WASH and general infrastructure.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to safety, sustainability, and community empowerment.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; English and Javanese proficiency is an asset.
