Vacancy Announcement – Project Associate

ASEAN Supporting Our Artisans and Retailers (SOAR) Together, Phase 2

 

The ASEAN Foundation, in collaboration with TikTok Shop, is pleased to invite applications for the following contractual position:

 

1. About the Programme

ASEAN Supporting Our Artisans and Retailers Together (ASEAN SOAR Together) is a regional initiative that aims to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs across ASEAN Member States through capacity‑building, mentorship, and digital business support. Phase 2 of the programme will support 120 MSMEs to strengthen digital skills, improve competitiveness, and adopt sustainable business practices.

 

2. Position Overview

The ASEAN Foundation seeks a Project Associate to support the implementation of ASEAN SOAR Together Phase 2.
Reporting to the Project Officer and under the guidance of the Head of Programme, the Project Associate will provide administrative, procurement, logistical, and financial support to ensure smooth delivery of project activities.

 

3. Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project support for trainings, mentoring sessions, and events
• Coordinate participant communications, schedules, and documentation
• Support procurement processes and financial documentation in line with internal procedures
• Maintain project databases, trackers, and records
• Provide logistical and inventory support for project activities
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned

 

4. Term and Location

• Location: Jakarta, with potential travel within ASEAN Member States
• Contract: Full‑time contract for 12 months, with possible renewal subject to performance

 

5. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant administrative or project support experience
• Strong written and spoken English
• Good organisational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP B1 is an advantage
