[Regional Center Lead (Emergency Response)]

Responsibilities:
Project Implementation & Coordination
- Develop a detailed response and recovery work plan.
- Coordinate with local government authorities, education offices, affected schools, and other stakeholders.
- Lead the day-to-day implementation of activities in accordance with the implementation plan.
- Ensure activities are carried out on time and meet established standards through coordination with staff and partners.
- Closely coordinate with the Technical Supervisory Consultant (Site Engineer) to ensure physical rehabilitation progress complies with quality standards and disaster-resilient National Standards (SNI)
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Conduct regular monitoring visits to track progress and identify challenges.
- Collect program data and submit clear, concise, and timely progress reports to the Senior Project Manager.
- Ensure that all field implementation, financial reporting, and narrative reporting comply with YCAB's Standard Operating Procedures and donor compliance requirements.
Stakeholder and Community Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners, government officials, and beneficiaries.
- Act as the organization's field representative to ensure community support and active participation.
Event and Logistics Management
- Plan and manage the distribution of educational support packages and economic recovery assistance (school kits & livelihood assets) in a transparent and accountable manner
Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Document all project activities, achievements, and challenges encountered.
- Collect success stories, case studies, and lessons learned for organizational learning and donor reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
- Preferably holds a degree in Disaster Management, Social Development, Social Welfare, or Civil Engineering/Construction.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in humanitarian program management, emergency response, or post-disaster recovery.
- Strong understanding of the disaster management cycle, international humanitarian standards (Sphere Standards), and BNPB regulations.
- Experience in managing projects funded by multiple donors (corporations/international foundations), including understanding donor compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with local governments and community leaders.
- Willing to be deployed in disaster-affected areas with high mobility.
