Background

Throughout our 60-year legacy, Project HOPE has treated millions of patients and provided more than $3 billion worth of medicines to local healthcare organizations around the world. We have helped build hundreds of health programs from the ground up and responded to humanitarian crises worldwide.
Project HOPE has been known in Indonesia since 1960 when the hospital ship USS HOPE visited Indonesia as part of its visit to several countries for humanitarian operations. Since 12 March 2018 Project HOPE has been registered as Yayasan Project HOPE in Indonesia. Yayasan Project HOPE (YPH) manages several programs in the areas of Infection Diseases, Tuberculosis Laboratory Strengthening, Maternal Neonatal Health, COVID-19 Emergency Response and Mental Health. It is also establishing an emergency response hub to strengthen emergency response operating systems in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
Position Summary
The Project Coordinator will provide overall coordination and operational leadership for the HER WAY Project, ensuring the effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of project activities. This role is designed to strengthen the project implementation cycle across four districts: Kota Tangerang-Banten, Kab. Bandung-West Java, Kab. Sidoarjo-East Java, and Kab. Banyuwangi-East Java.
Responsibilities include general coordination, stakeholder engagement, supervision of Field Officers, and technical support across the project’s core pillars: adolescent empowerment, transformative maternity care, postpartum family support, and community-based advocacy.
The position will work closely with implementing partners, District Health Offices, local educators, youth organizations, and community health networks to ensure high-quality intervention delivery.
The coordinator will report regularly to the Program Manager for Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH), seek approval for program-related decisions, and collaborate with other Project Coordinators on MNH initiatives
