Two of our programs, REVIVE and FOCUS, need your expertise to make this a reality!
REVIVE (Renewable Village-based Ventures for Economic Empowerment) is a two-year program from Humanis that aims to strengthen village-owned enterprises (BUM Desa) managing community-based renewable energy systems across Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara. Right now, we need a Village Business and Enterprise Development Consultant to identify and develop productive use of energy in 12 targeted villages. This is a remote position with periodic visits to Sumba, running from December 2026 to July 2027. Applications close on 13 November 2026.
On a side note, we also need your help for FOCUS (Fisherfolk Empowerment for Climate Resilience and Sustainability). Since 2022, FOCUS (, one of Humanis’ program, has worked with coastal communities and stakeholder in five districts and cities in Central Java to strengthen integrated coastal management and promote more inclusive and sustainable governance of coastal resources. Proposals close on 4 November 2026.
As the program concludes in December 2026, we are bringing its results and lessons learned, along with findings from our Nature-based Solutions study with IUCN, to wider audiences. For that, Humanis seeks to engage a professional, legally registered event organizer to plan, coordinate, and deliver the event series, including documentation, publication, and reporting, from November to December 2026.
