PROSPERA - Research Officer (Policy and Strategy Unit)
The role
Prospera is looking for a capable Research Officer to provide the analytical foundation for Prospera’s works in addressing the analytical needs of engagement areas, responding to new and emerging policy trends, and framing economic policy issues.
For this position, a strong knowledge on macroeconomic issues is preferable.

About you (Selection Criteria)
It is expected that the position will meet the following qualifications:
· A Bachelor’s degree in economics and public policy or other related areas. Postgraduate qualification is a plus. At least two (2) years’ relevant work experience in economics, public policy, or equivalent areas.
· Strong grip on fundamental macroeconomic and microeconomic concepts to support evidence-based policy analysis. An extensive knowledge on macroeconomic issue is a plus.
· Understanding of the Indonesian economy and available datasets on the Indonesian economy. The datasets including macroeconomic data and microeconomic datasets. An extensive knowledge on macroeconomic data is a plus.
· Excellent written communication skills with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and oral).
· Proficiency in data processing with statistical software such as STATA. Adept in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
· Proven ability to work independently, and to take initiative to progress deliverables.
About the program
Prospera is a partnership facility between the Government of Australia (through Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) and the Government of Indonesia. It aims to foster strong, sustainable, and inclusive economic growth in Indonesia. Commencing from 1 March 2018, Prospera is a planned five-year investment.
Remuneration
The remuneration will be set according to National Remuneration Framework Group C, Job Level 1, for Indonesia national. The remuneration level at which the Research Officer is engaged will be based on the successful candidate’s relevant skills and experience. The role is based in Jakarta- Indonesia.
