The EcoNusa Foundation is a non-profit organization aiming to enhance various local Papuan initiatives at the national and international levels in promoting sustainable natural resource management. The organization was founded on 21 July 2017 in Jakarta. In achieving the goal, EcoNusa Foundation encourages the development of the capacity of civil society organizations to organize advocacy, campaigns, communication with the engagement and dialogue among stakeholders in promoting sustainable natural resource management and the values of transparency, conservation, and equity. We work on several projects which, among others, focus on local community resilience, policy advocacy, communication hubs in Eastern Indonesia, and local economic development.

PURPOSE OF JOB
Econusa has established a social-enterprise together with local indigenous communities in Papua and Maluku. Along with this new expansion, the needs of Business Development Intern is identifying and contacting prospective customers or partner companies, promoting the business online and via word-of-mouth, and creating client proposals and contracts. The goal of the internship is to gain valuable work experience and skills to start your career in business development
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying and contacting prospective customers or partner companies, promoting the business online and via word-of-mouth, and creating client proposals and contracts.
- Analyze the commodities trends and local products and the company's strategies to identify opportunities to cash in on.
- Report relevant findings from the strategies implemented and get them approved by the supervisor.
- support the creation and presentation of new ideas to add value to commodities products to increase sales and market.
- Create a database and present the buyer potential listing in Europe, EUA, ASIA Market for commodities.
- Analyze sales and trends to promote ideas for sustained revenue growth.
- Create ad-hoc reports for the sales and markets as requested.
- Support the search for new suitable business partners to increase the brand's networking capabilities and customer reach.
- Help to prepare a new sales and marketing plan for existing and under developing products.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES
- Senior Students or Fresh Graduates in reputable Universities with majors in Business Management, Marketing Communication, or related fields.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to travel as needed.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, organization, problem-solving and management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Effective written and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Detail-oriented.
