SurfAid is a non-profit organization which aims to improve the health, wellbeing and self-reliance of people living in isolated regions connected to us through surfing. SurfAid has worked in four locations in Indonesia: Mentawai Islands District in Sumatra Barat, Nias District in Sumatra Utara, Bima District in NTB and Sumba Barat District in NTT. We work in the areas that are considered the most remote, with limited infrastructure and few community empowerment programs working there.
We are looking for an experienced, detail oriented and analytical person, with a good communication skills as our:
FINANCE OFFICER
As part of the Support Team, the Finance Officer is responsible to ensure accurate and timely processing, reporting, and monitoring of finance transactions, and to implement finance procedures in accordance with SurfAid Finance Handbook and procedures for accountability and reliability.
THE PERSON:
You are experienced in accounting or finance and will be a part of the Finance Team at SurfAid Indonesia Head Office. Although this is a Head Office position, you are expected to do field travel to remote locations on a regular basis. It would be great if you are used to working with small organizations, as you are required to be hands-on as necessary, willing to support others and ready for changes.
THE QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES:
Minimum bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 3 years experience in Finance
Familiar with Microsoft Office especially excel spreadsheet
Good numeric skills
Good communication skills and able to work with various stakeholder
Detail oriented with analytical thinking
Familiar with QuickBooks or MYOB financial software
Experience at the same level in NGO is desirable
Experience doing BPJS and Tax Report is desirable
Preferably the candidate resides in Bali.
