Position: Project Coordinator (PC)
Program: Infection Prevention and Control/Infectious Disease
Time Commitment: Full-time, one year (potential to extend)
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia with possibility of travelling

Yayasan Project HOPE (YPH) is a non-profit foundation, registered in Indonesia's Ministry of Law and Human Right in 2018, and is affiliated with the global health organization Project HOPE. It aims to strengthen the capacity of healthcare workers for an improved access to quality health services to Indonesians, and to provide humanitarian assistance to disaster victims. We envision a world where everyone has access to the health they need to reach life's full potential through a strong and resilient global community of health care workers (HCW). Our mission is to place power in the hands of local HCWs to save lives across the globe. We committed to transforming lives and uplifting communities by empowering healthcare workers to expertly implement and teach innovative lifesaving solutions, in times of need and into the future. Since 2004 we have been conducted humanitarian relief to victims of disasters like the Aceh tsunami and Palu earthquake and implemented several health programs such as Maternal and Child Health in 7 Java districts and Healthcare goes to communities in 3 Bangka districts, Strengthening 26 provincial MDR-TB Laboratories, Children with Asthma, US-CDC - Support to National Disease Surveillance and Pandemic Response, UBS Optimus - COVID19 Infection Prevention and Control in 32 hospitals and 75 primary health facilities, and Give2Asia - Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for pregnant mothers in 3 Java districts.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of Program Manager, s/he will be responsible to provide support for the implementation of Protecting Health Care Worker Project that include the Infection Prevention and Control and Mental Health program for Health Care worker and other activities as assigned to improve the quality and effectiveness of YPH capabilities, thus maintain coordination with Ministry of Health at national level and district level, partner organization, and health facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supporting the program management of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Mental Health Program
a). To support Program Manager on the program development, advocacy and strategy, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation related to IPC and Mental Health 
     Program for Health Care Worker.
b). To supervise and support the activity of IPC and mental health program for HCW at health facility level that includes training and mentoring activities.
c). To support Program Manager in monitoring the consultants/experts working on the work of IPC and mental health that include the development of module 
      training, IPC Health Facility (HF) readiness tools, mental health assessment tools, baseline and endline study.
d). To support Program Manager on the development and implement monitoring methodology and tools for quality assurance of all aspects of IPC program 
      implementation.
e). To analyse the data of IPC and mental health programs from Field Officers and present it in quarterly reports to improve the quality of the program.
f). To supervise Field Officers at district level and to ensure the implementation of the activities at district level align with the work plan, using best practices and 
     successful approaches.
g). To support Program Manager in writing technical reports, project reports, concepts, research papers, survey reports, etc.

2. Maintaining the collaboration with stakeholder and partners
a). Collaborate and maintain the partnership with the Ministry of Health at national and District Level, PERDALIN (INASIC), Indonesian Medical Association, 
     Clinical Psychology Association, and other potential partners.
b). To present on behalf of Yayasan Project Hope in the coordination meeting, advocacy and other activities at National and District Level

3. Other tasks to support ongoing and new programs as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in the field of public health, medical, or nursing
• 5+ years of project support (management, planning, staff development and training skills), preferably in infection prevention control or other infectious diseases 
  and mental health
• Skills and knowledge in capacity building, advocacy, project monitoring and evaluation
• Strong writing, presentation, and training skills
• Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks and many administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
• Computer proficiency should include Word, Excel, and other general experience with software programs.
• Fluency in English required
• Preferably those who have experience working with non-governmental organizations.
• Preferably those who have experience working with Ministry of Health and Health Facility i.e. hospital and primary health care
• Be comfortable interacting with new people and groups both one-on-one and for large gatherings
• Be able to motivate above in positive collaboration
• Exercise problem solving skills in day to day and crisis situations
