Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is a non-profit organization that works globally to improve health systems and protect people from diseases. MSH collaborates with local partners, from the Ministry to the community, to strengthen and complement existing health systems. Since 1971, MSH has worked in over 150 countries to ensure sustainable, resilient, and equitable access to quality healthcare.

MSH started working in Indonesia in 1980 with a focus on improving child health, decentralizing health services, expanding access to care and treatment for TB, and strengthening pharmaceutical management. In 2023, MSH was awarded the five-year USAID BEBAS TB activity to reduce TB incidence and mortality by addressing critical gaps and challenges in the TB program. This activity builds on the work of previous USAID projects and aims to improve access and utilization of quality and patient-centered comprehensive TB services.

To achieve the objectives, MSH is looking for a Procurement Associate based in National Office, Jakarta Indonesia for duration of 6 months.

 

 

About the Job :

National Procurement Associate will take a pivotal role in procuring goods and services at the national level, ensuring compliance with MSH/Donor procurement policies and procedures. From preparing procurement solicitations to negotiating purchase agreements, your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement processes.

 

 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Procurement Manager to oversee daily procurement activities and liaise with the Procurement Specialist.
  • Ensure the integrity of procurement processes, from preparing bidding documents to evaluating bids and monitoring contractor performance.
  • Maintain compliance with procurement regulations and guidelines, both internally and from relevant donors.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to meet project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field. Professional certification in procurement/logistics is advantageous.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in administrative grants, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Experience in a USG or donor-funded project or NGO preferred.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and Deltek Costpoint is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience in procuring services, goods, and various procurement formats.
