About the organization:
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is an independent humanitarian and development organization. YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty
Country Purpose:
Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003 and officially became Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sectors for the program include:
- Water and Sanitation
- Sustainable livelihood
- Education
- Child Welfare
- Shelter
- Disaster Risk Reduction
- Climate Change
The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and Jakarta Province will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.
Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking Senior Corporate Fundraising Officer based in Jakarta.
Job Purpose:
- To develop fundraising policy, system, strategy and mechanism, and SOP on fundraising in the areas other than faith related donation CSR, CSV (Creating Shared Value), ZIS (Zakat, Infaq, and Shodaqoh) and WAQF/DSKL;
- To establish and build the capacity of the fundraising team including volunteers for humanitarian related donation;
- To lead in implementation strategy of fundraising including in preparing for marketing and communication material, Proposal to Corporate donor mapping-engagement-caring, donor partnership management, and setting up capital campaign for humanitarian related donation
Key Duties:
Relationship Management:
- to expand for new donor corporate for new donor corporate every month
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing corporate donors.
- Identify and engage potential corporate partners
Fundraising Strategy:
- Develop and implement corporate fundraising strategies and initiatives.
- Set fundraising goals and objectives.
Proposal Development:
- Prepare and present funding proposals to corporate partners.
- Tailor proposals to align with the interests and corporate social responsibility objectives of potential donors.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, communications) to ensure alignment of fundraising efforts with overall organizational goals.
- Collaborate with program teams to understand funding needs and impact outcomes
Reporting and Evaluation:
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress against targets.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and make adjustments as needed.
Networking:
- Attend networking events, conferences, and meetings to promote the organization and its fundraising initiatives.
- Establish connections in the corporate sector to enhance fundraising efforts
Knowledge, skill, and qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or more in relevant fields. (e.g., nonprofit management, business administration).
- Significant experience in fundraising, particularly in corporate fundraising.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate partners.
- Vast knowledge of fundraising sector in Indonesia specially for CSR, CSV (Creating Shared Value) and ZISWAF/DSKL
- High Know how in donor acquisition and retainment
- Ability to advice CEO and Managers on fundraising tactics.
- Well-developed IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft office in particular for presentation purpose
- Ability to supervise and develop staff
- Having proven effective relation and networking with general public companies, charity organization, and key stakeholders for fundraising purpose
- Having database of donors and companies
Experience:
- A 3 year experience of managing fundraising corporate sector
- A proven record of successful fundraising achievement in corporate
- Experience of undertaking a range of tasks requiring a high degree of discretion, sensitivity and negotiating skills.

• English fluently enough
• Able to work on own initiative and able to be flexible.
• Able to analyse and solve problems from complex information and make an informed decision
