Since 2006, Nutrition International has supported the Government of Indonesia in strengthening health and nutrition programs, particularly for vulnerable populations. We provide technical assistance and strategic advocacy to national and provincial governments to improve the nutritional status of women, newborns, children under five, and adolescents through micronutrient supplementation, nutrition education and large-scale food fortification programs.
As Indonesia navigates a changing development landscape—including declining Official Development Assistance (ODA), government budget efficiency measures, and evolving global financing priorities—sustaining momentum in nutrition requires continued strategic engagement and flexible support. These shifts have created funding gaps for several high-priority nutrition initiatives and national events, while the Government continues to seek timely technical and catalytic support from trusted partners. Against this backdrop, NI anticipates receiving requests from the Government of Indonesia to support emerging nutrition priorities and strategic opportunities and events that may arise throughout the year. Maintaining the flexibility to respond rapidly and adapt to evolving government needs will enable NI to provide timely, high-value support where it is most needed. We see this as a strategic opportunity to reinforce NI's role as a trusted partner and responsive ally to the Government of Indonesia, while sustaining the visibility and impact of Canada's longstanding investment in improving nutrition outcomes across the country.
As part of its programmes and stakeholder engagement activities in Indonesia, Nutrition International regularly organizes a range of events throughout the year, including, but not limited to:
- Workshops/meetings/consultations,
- Conferences, trainings, seminars,
- Field visits
- Other stakeholder engagement activities.
To support the efficient planning and execution of these activities, and to support requests of support from MoH, Nutrition International seeks to establish a Framework Agreement with a qualified and experienced Event Management Agency preferably based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The selected agency will provide end-to-end event management and logistical support for events organized by Nutrition International on an as-needed basis during the framework agreement period.
Required qualifications of the agency/bidder:
a) Past experience of organizing such workshops with participation of multi-sectoral audience including high-level government officials.
b) Excellent report writing skills in English language.
c) Excellent coordination skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
d) Experience in dealing with policy and decision makers and CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) and effectively liaison with external stakeholders.
e) Have a skilled and professional team who can deliver the tasks with minimum guidance.
f) Presence of relevant staff at provincial-level for effective implementation of sub-national level activities.
g) Availability of electronic systems and financial management systems and software’s
