Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is a humanitarian and development organization committed to alleviating poverty and improving community resilience in Indonesia. As part of the MEMPHIS–PGA Project, YRII is implementing the Ultra Poor Graduation (UPG) Approach, a proven and integrated poverty alleviation model adapted to the Indonesian context.
To support project implementation, YRII is seeking motivated and qualified individuals to join our team as Casual Community Mobilizers.
Job Purpose
Under the supervision of the Project Officer, the Community Mobilizer will support the implementation of livelihood and graduation model activities at the community level. The role involves close coordination with the Livelihood Specialist, Program Coordinator, MEAL team, local stakeholders, and community groups to ensure effective, timely, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of project activities in line with approved plans and targets
- Assist Right Holder (RH) selection and community consultation processes
- Facilitate livelihood business planning, training, and mentoring
- Support asset/cash transfer processes and post-distribution monitoring
- Assist in the formation and strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
- Support saving mechanisms and the Apex Body establishment
- Coordinate with local stakeholders, government, and partners
- Prepare activity reports supported by data and evidence
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Social Work, Management, or related fields
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in poverty reduction, livelihood development, microfinance, or related programs
- Experience working with NGOs, local partners, or government institutions
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, survey tools)
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is an advantage
