Job Description
Under the supervision of the Communication Officer, the Digital Media Intern will support the organization’s digital media management. This position plays an important role in ensuring consistent and effective communication activities, including content production and the optimization of various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities of the Digital Media Support Intern include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in producing and editing content (photos, short videos, copywriting) for WEI digital platforms.
- Manage and monitor daily social media performance, including scheduling posts, and tracking insights/analytics.
- Support the preparation of communication reports, including social media analytics and weekly/monthly content performance updates.
- Assist in collecting documentation of activities (photos and videos) for publication and communication materials.
- Monitor current social media and digital campaign trends for content ideas.
- Perform other duties that are relevant to boost social media activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Final semester university students majoring in Communication Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, Broadcasting, Visual Communication Design, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of social media management and content trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram.
- Ability to use basic design and editing tools (Canva and CapCut).
- Strong and creative copywriting skills.
- Detail-oriented, communicative, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Portfolio of content (if available) is an added value.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and responsive to guidance.
- Willing to work from the office based on the assigned schedule.
